A 1943 Birmingham Dispersed Production Lee-Enfield No. 1 Mk. III* bolt-action service rifle chambered in .303 British. It has an S-marked short buttstock with a Second World War-era aluminum buttplate. All-matching serial numbers. Good bore, good condition.

Birmingham Dispersed Production was the production of rifles by the civilian firearms trade, companies such as Parker-Hale and Holland and Holland in Birmingtham during the Second World War. A similar program, known as the Peddled Scheme was undertaken during the Great War.
